Connie Portice-Brown

The majority of Connie's career was spent as a social studies classroom teacher. The past few years, she has been serving as an administrator. In or out of the classroom, it has always been her goal to provide her students with the tools that they need to succeed. As an administrator, it is also her goal to provide teachers and staff the tools they need to be successful and help students succeed. Over the years, the number of at-risk students she works with has grown. This is mostly due to the changing demographics in mid-Michigan. She has pursued additional education and training to gain additional knowledge and skills to better serve students and fellow educators. She is excited for this new learning and how it can improve her practice as an educator and impact her students lives.
