Alessandra Cabrera

Alessandra is an Assistant Principal of Rudsdale Continuation High School and Sojourner Truth Independent Study program in Oakland, CA, co-founded Rudsdale Continuation High in 2005. For the last two decades, she has been dedicated to helping Oakland students reach their full potential in her dual role as counselor and administrator. Through the philosophy of creating working relationships with every family in her school community, she’s able to empower students to become invested in their academic growth and build trust with the staff on campus, increasing students’ potential for academic and post-secondary success. Alessandra is a proud mother of a soon-to-be kindergartener and enjoys spending time with her husband, extended family and friends.
