Fabiana Montenegro

Fabiana is Manager of Student and Family Persistence for KIPP Texas Schools where she oversees and implements engagement and retention programs for the primary schools in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston. She helps design and implement programs that positively engages students and their families with their school communities. She has been a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher, Reading Interventionist, and Family Engagement Coordinator at a campus and district level. Fabiana received her B.S. degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and she loves interacting with people, salsa dancing, reading, Netflix, and traveling. She lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and 11 year-old pit/lab mix named Rocky.
