Gabriel Gonzalez
Gabriel’s passion for education grew from endless questions about culture and community development. As an undergraduate student at Amherst College, he studied education – from history and philosophy to policy and neuroscience. His education for self, citizenship, and community led him to Open Future Institute, an education, non-profit startup with a mission to reimagine education through the QUESTion Project. The QUESTion Project provides curriculum and teacher training to support students as they explore life’s biggest and most important human questions about who we and how we define and create meaning in our lives. Gabriel’s time in various classrooms, paired with his research and years of experience working closely with youth, high school, and incarcerated students has helped him become an energetic and engaging instructor who recognizes that he is continually learning alongside his students.
