Mychal Mills is a courageous leader from New Jersey, driven by a lifelong commitment to creating the conditions for beloved community. Since childhood, Mychal has been dedicated to fostering community bonds and serving others.

In 2014, he co-founded Konscious Youth Development & Service (KYDS), a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming youth, schools, and communities through holistic practices. These practices encompass mindfulness, social-emotional learning, trauma & healing, restorative practices, and resilience building. KYDS has forged partnerships with 200 schools across New Jersey, impacting 25,000 youth, 9,000 educators, and numerous community members.  Beyond the numerical impact, the organization has transformed lives through generations of healing. 

In 2022, Mychal assumed a role as a lead facilitator with Transformative Educational Leadership (TEL) team, contributing significantly to the advancement of educational leaders nationwide.
He leads by aligning a higher purpose with heartfelt intention, generating transformative waves of change throughout the world. Mychal's capabilities expand in mindfulness, heartfulness, public speaking, mentorship, fierce compassion, critical and creative thinking, as well as purpose-driven dialogue. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management and an MBA from Monmouth University. Mychal has also demonstrated exceptional leadership in prior roles, notably with Feeding America Food Banks, Boys & Girls Club, and other community-driven initiatives.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mychal is a sound healing facilitator and an accomplished spoken word poet and author. His life purpose is to awaken love within oneself and humanity.
