Sandra Taylor-Marshall
Our experiences shape who we are, how we show up, and the ways we interact with others. Sandra Taylor-Marshall is a Professional Learning Manager and Instructional Coaching Program Coordinator in the Office of Professional Learning and Community Education (PLACE) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also a childhood cancer survivor, mom, wife, caregiver, and voracious learner. All of these roles and their accompanying experiences guide Sandra as she designs and facilitates professional learning opportunities for educators worldwide. Programs such as the Instructional Coaching Certificate Program, Coalition for Leading Anti-Racist Schools, and Greater Madison Writing Project foster connection, collaboration, and community as they strive to build and develop the capacity of leaders and increase their sense of self-efficacy so they may, in turn, build the capacity of others. Sandra not only believes in facilitating these types of learning experiences for others, but she also seeks them out as a participant.
